How To Stay on Track with a To Do List

How To Stay on Track with a To Do List | Ordered and Organized

Do you have a never-ending to do list?  Do you get distracted from one task in favor of working on another?  A to do list can help you weed out some of those tasks and keep you on track.

I suggest storing your to do list in your home management binder.  I have a printable, fillable, editable, savable to do list here on the blog.   You must be a newsletter subscriber to access it.  You can type directly into the file or print it and write out each task.  I included a line for you to title each page by category or by date.  (As an example, when my husband and I moved into our new house, I created I have one for each room that needed renovating.  I currently have lists for Decluttering, Decorating, Finances, Digital Clean-up, House Renovations, Outdoors, and Paper)

When you’ve finished your to do list, make a point to check it every weekend–or even just once a month–and see what task or two you can knock off it.  Update your list periodically.

How Did You Do?

Did you create a to do list?  How long did this task take you to complete?  Let me hear from you in the comments below!
